Promoting Shared Understanding and Global Pathways for Open Science
Aligning open science services with institutional policies, strategic and governance objectives is extremely important in order to strengthen national resilience and develop international engagement opportunities. This 2-hour interactive workshop will initially identify challenges within the regional research environment. It will explore how open science policy and institutional strategies can strengthen the resilience of research in emerging research environments internationally.
The workshop activities will give participants the opportunity to:
- Discuss how researchers and academics can effectively participate in shaping open science policy and identifying institutional and regional priorities.
- Explore global policy developments for international collaboration and engagement.
- Examine how international initiatives️ can reduce barriers, bridge gaps and foster sustainable research collaboration.
- Co-create actionable components of an open science roadmap by synthesizing insights from showcased institutional examples.
The workshop provides a space for researchers and academics to engage in policy and strategic discussions that enable them to:
