We’re so excited to announce the release of our annual report, detailing a year of significant growth and impact in the region’s open research landscape. The report showcases a range of activities, including the successful hosting of the 3rd Annual Forum for Open Research in MENA in Qatar last October, a series of free online events focused on community development and capacity building with thought leaders and innovators from across the region and beyond, and the launch of its pioneering open access journal, Al Wusul.

In addition to these milestones, we’ve also begun producing valuable bilingual resources for our diverse network of academics, researchers, librarians, institutional representatives, and policymakers. These resources aim to further support and foster collaboration within the open research community across the region.
