We are particularly proud of the Declaration’s commitment to fostering inclusive research practices that encourage the inputs of researchers across underrepresented regions within the Global South. By supporting this declaration, we pledge to champion its principles and promote their adoption throughout the region.

• Advocating for the adoption of Open Access policies by research institutions and funders in the MENA region.
• Encouraging researchers to openly share their research findings, data, and other outputs to facilitate collaboration and accelerate scientific progress.

• Advocating for inclusive and equitable access to research outputs for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and the public across the Arab world.
