Our mission is to support the advancement of Open Science policies and practises in research communities across the whole Arab region. We are therefore particularly excited to welcome the Arab Institution of Knowledge Management (AIKM) as the newest member of the Forum for Open Research in MENA.

Arab Institution of Knowledge Management (AIKM) is an Egyptian institution with Arabian vision and global perspective, and it is an IFLA member. AIKM’s mission is to spread the culture of knowledge management in several institutions and develop the skills of their employees, through best practices and technical applications according to the Arab world and international standards.

We very much look forward to collaborating with AIKM and our other members in the coming months and years.
