This event is a collaboration with the International Science Council. In this 3-hour seminar and workshop, we will explore the nature, impact and benefits of scientific preprints for the entire scholarly ecosystem. The interactive workshop will familiarise participants to a practical approach to using preprints and the benefits they offer to different stakeholder groups. Participants will also collaborate to identify the barriers to normalizing preprints in the region.
