Open Access Publishing Models: An Overview of Strengths and Weaknesses
This workshop provided attendees with an overview of the various funding and publishing models for open scholarship, including emerging models such as subscribe-to-open and transformative/transitional models like read and publish. The presenter compared the strengths and weaknesses of these models, and attendees had the opportunity to consider the implications of different scenarios for their respective sectors.
